Recently, many of Rieter's friends who have gone abroad are preparing their applications for 2025 Fall,Some of my friends are going to New Zealand for high school,The final qualification is the NCEA New Zealand High School Diploma,So here is Rida Xiaobian to sweep up illiteracy for everyone,What is NCEA,To finally obtain the NCEA diploma,What are the specific requirements?

Different from China's education system, New Zealand, which follows the education system of the British Commonwealth, advocates interactive teaching, encourages students to think independently, and enables students to learn knowledge in practice so as to lay a solid foundation for future work, and attaches great importance to the development of students' moral, intellectual and physical beauty。New Zealand's native high school curriculum is the NCEA。So how do you finally get the NCEA and what are the score requirements?

In simple terms, students need 80 credits in Grade 11 to enter Grade 12, including 20 in English literacy and numeracy, and 80 credits each in Grade 12 and 13 to graduate。

For international students,A solid foundation that has been built since elementary school,It will not be difficult to obtain the ten points of arithmetic,Getting a ten in English requires extra effort,You can improve your English skills by taking ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) courses,ESOL is an English language course for international students,It is usually taught in small classes,Teachers are very responsible and patient to tutor each student。English literacy scores can be obtained using the EAP (English for Academic Purposes) or these academic purposes indicated in the figure。

If you do not achieve 10 points in math in grade 11, you will need to continue to study math in grade 12. Similarly, if you do not achieve 10 points in English in grade 12, which includes 5 points in reading and 5 points in writing, you will need to continue to study English in grade 13。

In short, no matter how you end up, be sure to meet the academic expectations of the NCEA and reach the standard of a qualified graduate。
